Orca is the agent every Craken workspace starts with. Use it when a task needs workspace context and should produce a workspace-visible answer or artifact. Jobs, token limits, and learning are the same for every agent — see Agents.
What Orca Can Do
Orca can:
- Read recent channel or DM context and search older workspace messages.
- Send replies in the conversation where it was called.
- Find, read, write, revise, rename, restore, and verify Wiki pages.
- Inspect Workspace files and supported visible attachments, and extract text from shared or attached PDF, DOCX, XLSX, CSV, and TSV files.
- Summarize that file evidence and connect it to wiki pages or messages.
- Rename workspace files, and promote visible message attachments into Workspace files when asked.
- Create and update long-running Jobs.
- Remember stable workspace preferences and workflows.
Visibility Boundaries
Orca works inside the current workspace and sees workspace files and visible conversation attachments provided in task context. It should not claim it verified current workspace state unless it actually used a relevant tool in that turn.
Calling Orca
Use Direct messages for private work; for shared work, mention @Orca in a channel where Orca is a member.

Steering And Stopping
Send another message in the same conversation to redirect Orca while it works, or use the progress-row interrupt control to stop it. System operators can inspect and cancel Jobs from Manage Workspace.
